 CANCELLED: Honoring the Vidyadhara: "Curated Tour of Great Eastern Sun: The Shambhala Community in Halifax"Wed April 18th: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM This date is CANCELLED Sitting and video narrated by Carolyn Rose Gimian, compiler and editor of The Collected Works of Chögyam Trungpa, and who has been editing the works of Chögyam Trungpa for more than twenty-five years. She is the founding director of the Shambhala Archives, the archival repository for Chögyam Trungpa's work in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The video gives a curated look at the exhibit, which will be on view at Halifax’s Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 through April 21. You’ll see treasures and personal effects of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche — whose “graffito” of his family name, Mukpo, leads off this video — and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, as well as contributions from the Nova Scotian Shambhala Buddhist community. |
